Stewart Slocum has been honored with the “Excellence in Innovation” award from the National Restaurant Association and “Innovator of the Year” award from Nightclub & Bar magazine.  


Starting with the launch of Jack Daniel’s Grill at T.G.I. Friday’s, he spent 9 years on U.S. and International teams, counseling franchisees from Albany to Amsterdam.  For a few years, he led the $450 million Friday's beverage business, where he reversed a 5-year sales decline.

His career has included leadership roles at marquee companies including Sheraton/Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Denihan Hotels, Patina Restaurant Group and LeDuff America, allowing partnerships with James Beard and Michelin awarded chefs including Joachim Splichal, Stephan Pyles and Jonathan Benno.  


As a leader in digital marketing and applying business intelligence for success, he has served on the advisory boards for both Fishbowl and Technomic.

Stewart is a proud Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and Austin College alumnus.
